From Wall Street Journal, BookTok, and #1 Amazon bestselling author T L Swan comes the new edition of the steamy first title in her fan-favorite Mr. Series.

When Brielle Johnson lied on her resume, she didn’t expect it to matter.

She believed any child would love her; that she was born to be a nanny.

So, she applied for a position in London working for a widowed woman,

or so she thought…

But Julian Masters is definitely all man…

The kind you dream of licking chocolate from.

He’s grumpy, arrogant and always used to being in control.

The last thing he needed was a young, inexperienced nanny turning his carefully constructed world upside down.

Brielle’s first day was bad.

The kids were the spawn of the devil, and she spied through a window and caught him doing something obscene…and equally fascinating.

The second day was worse; he caught her snooping in his bathroom cabinet in her skimpy pyjamas, and all hell broke loose.

On the third day, she ran over him in a golf cart.

And by day four, Brielle had decided that she wanted that chocolate…all of it. Melted…on her.

But intelligent, widowed judges don’t fall for their young, spirited nannies…

What a love story between a hard headed judge and the new nanny! She's actually more than a nanny, she brings light, warmth and happiness to the kids first then wins over the judge who has had to much sadness in his life. I'm especially proud of her for sticking up for herself and her honesty. I like not having to read a book that makes me cry but makes me laugh.

Mr. Masters (Mr. Series Bk 1)

This story pulled you in quick. The lively, vivacious, effervescent personality of the MFC that is Brielle draws you in. A lot of this story is in her point of view because it's her story. Of course, from the exerpt you get where the story will end up, but boy, you don't have a clue on the journey they had to go through to get there. You get to know all the characters fairly well, and pretty quick, and you appreciate how strong of a force the MFC is and how protective she is of the kids so much so, she has won them over in 3 weeks. There is hurt, heartache, past demons, clumsiness. She is a light in the children's life, and a light Julian Masters the MMC didn't know he needed. Mr. Masters is so broken and closed off to his children, and to love, but it's Brielle that starts to crack him open, and calls him out on his attitude. I have to say this is one of the few books I didn't want to put down. Most I can walk away and do what I need to do, and get back to it whenever, but not with this one. I needed to know how they would resolve their fights, and agruments, and when they finally got together ... it was so. very. good. it. was. HoT! Mr. Masters knows how to have mind blowing romps, and likes to get rough and dirty, and he's hung and thick, and Miss Brielle can't get enough of him when he's this good. Their chemistry sizzles. But it takes to almost 80% of the book for their huge falling out, and you wonder if for the first time, if the MMC, and the MFC won't be able to overcome their differences and work it out. It puts you on edge, and you suffer right along with them. There is spice, a lot of past demons, but with good supporting friends, with both parents of the MMC/MFC being supportive of their children. There is no cliffhanger. It has a HEA with a two year and three year exerpt so you can see where they end up. This book is - So GooD! But you might need some tissues. I am for sure reading the rest of the series!!

Julian and Brielle

Reviewed in the United States on September 10, 2023

Twenty five year old Brielle left Australia for London to get away from a troubled relationship and to start a new life. She decided to take a nanny’s position even though she was a qualified engineer.

Julian Masters is a judge and the owner of a billion dollar corporation, and the single father of a teenage daughter and a small child. He doesn’t have a bad life, as he has two friends that he has had since his school days, but he’s closed off to love.

Brielle came to London with a friend, so she expects to spend her free time with her girlfriend Emerson. Unfortunately the first time the two of them went out, Brielle came home practically black out drunk and made a pass at Mr. Masters. Brielle was so humiliated that she put in her three week notice, not only because of Mr. Masters delivering a terrible set down over her behavior, but he never seems happy about anything she does. Julian asks her to stay, and admits that his true anger was at himself because he was tempted by his attractive young nanny. He also tells her he will try not to be so disapproving because he can see that his children are happier for the first time in along time.

Brielle draws Julian into activities with his children and they all start to form a family unit, just as Julian and Brielle have a growing attraction. Julian invites Brielle out to meet him at a very exclusive hotel, and they have a hot and fantastic night together. When they meet again at the house Julian is the same locked up guy he always is.

This looked like it was going to be one of the books that was intended to be all about sex, but it’s really all about a family and the problems they have and how the nanny blends in and helps everyone. It’s a really good story and I had a difficult time stopping and going to sleep! This is well written and very modern and timely and yet very devoted to family values. Still hot, but woven into an excellent story.
