From #1 New York Times bestselling author Freida McFadden comes an electrifying medical thriller, Dead Med, originally published as Suicide Med.

"All I can think about is how pathetic it would be to die in the anatomy lab. The last thing I want is to become one of the dead bodies."

When Heather McKinley dreamed of becoming a doctor, she imagined curing sick kids and sporting pink stethoscopes. She never anticipated the sleepless nights, grueling exams, and endless labs. And she certainly never knew that her medical school earned the nickname Dead Med thanks to the tragic history of students overdosing on illegal drugs.

But Heather would never consider doing anything like that. That is, until her longtime boyfriend dumps her, she finds herself failing anatomy, and her world starts to crumble.

Everyone has a breaking point.

Then, on the night before the final exam in anatomy, a shot rings out through the hallways of Dead Med.

The school has claimed yet another casualty. One of Heather's classmates has done the unthinkable, and before her desperate 911 call even connects, it will happen again.

And the night is just beginning.

Suicide med was one of my favorite books from Freida McFadden, and I was extremely skeptical about her having made changes. I have to admit, she did a wonderful job! I definitely prefer this less confusing ending. I miss certain aspects from suicide med, but I understand...

Heather Mc Kinley has a dream of becoming a doctor. She didn't realize how much stress she would be under or how hard it would be. The school she is going to has been nicknamed Dead Med because of the students who have died there. Every student is out for themselves but how far will they go to be the top of the class?

I liked the multiple points of view from the students and how everything connects in the end. The stress, the sleepless nights and the pressure is pushing all of the students and some can't handle the pressure. Heather never thought she would end up in this situation.

The students joke that one of the professors must be behind the drugs on campus. Before the final exams another tragedy will happen on campus.

I just love this author. I didn't read the original of this book so I'm not sure how it changed. I just know if Freida wrote it I want to read it.

Freida never disappoints. Another page turner. The plot for this one is a little more 'in your face' than her other books but she still throws in a couple hooks you don't see coming.

I feel like this was all over the place so many POVs and many loose ends I don't think I enjoyed it very much and that's saying a lot since I love Freida books but it did keep me a bit entertained which is why I gave it 3 stars
