In this sexy installment of the Miles High Club series from bestselling author T L Swan, a billionaire playboy goes incognito on a backpacking trip in Europe. But how long can he hide from love?

Iā€™m wealthy, powerful, and able to get any woman I want.

So why do I feel so empty inside?

In search of a deeper me, I take a sabbatical from my privileged life. One year of backpacking around Europe: a new identity, no contacts, and no money. Not a bad plan, I think.

Until I get there.

A crowded hostel room, body odor, and beer bongsā€•there are no words for the fresh hell Iā€™ve landed in.

But amid the chaos, I meet my new roommate, Hayden Whitmore. She sleeps in the bed opposite me, and I openly admit to staring at her more than I sleep. Beautiful, innocent, and smart. Not my usual type but perhaps the perfect woman.

Thereā€™s just one small problem with the divine Miss Hayden. Sheā€™s totally unaffected by my charm. Nothing is working, and now, Iā€™ve been friend zoned.

What?

But the good thing about me is that Iā€™m an incredible problem solver, and Iā€™ve come up with a diabolical plan. Iā€™m going to slide right in under her friend zone. Be the best damn friend she ever had, hold her hand, make her laugh, and spoon with her in bed.

But now thereā€™s another problem.

Hayden is the one who is sliding under my skin, and maybe friendship isnā€™t enough.

Oh, I absolutely loved reading this book! What a wonderful love story. Laugh out loud funny too, especially if you didn't grow up in the city, you can really appreciate the humor at the end. I liked this book because it had a different scenario that Cristo and Haze went through, at least I think that's what Eddie nicknamed her. It wasn't towards the ending either but a real part of the story and the ending was fantastic!

Hysterical!

I loved the whole series ( The Miles High Club), but this was my favorite. The four brothers (each one has a book) are successful billionaires, but they didn't have a normal childhood. The women they fall for are average, down-to-earth, people. That's where the fun starts! Activities we take for granted, like getting a job, and taking orders from a boss and swallowing what you'd really want to say, are foreign to them. Christopher, (oh hero), decides to take a sabbatical from the family business to go backpacking through Europe. His brothers laugh hysterically, saying he's too spoiled to last a week, never mind a year! When, on his first night in Barcelona, his card is stolen and the account he set up for the trip expenses is emptied, he is forced to take jobs to earn his keep. Enter Hayden, (our heroine). She lives on a farm and is also backpacking for a year, and they meet at the hostel, where they are sharing a room with four others. They all hang out and become friends, but no-one knows who he is, they think he's just another broke traveller making his way through Europe. Throughout the book, Christopher starts to realize how fortunate he is, and how much he's taken for granted. As they get closer, he tries to figure how to tell Hayden he's been lying to her, and who he really is. Definitely one of the funniest books I've read in a long time.

A bit too much sex for my liking, and a bit long. I would have appreciated more depth to the relationship to be convinced it would be a long term HEA, but the inclusion of Eddie helps. Funny and entertaining. A good read overall.

He decides to go on a one year search of himself backpacking trip. Itā€™s at a hostel in Barcelona that he meet Hayden who works in animal husbandry. Sheā€™s a country girl through and through who booked this trip after breaking up with her childhood boyfriend. At the hostel bar they meet this young boy called Eduardo who works there. The Do-Over was an okay read. While there were several elements I really enjoyed throughout the story, certain aspects and how they were handled were just not my favorite.

This is the fourth and final book in the Miles High Club Series. So I would recommend just reading the prior books first. I would also suggest checking the content warnings as well.

There were some great tropes that I really liked such as: friends to lovers, close proximity, opposites attract and secret identity.

The first half of the book was good, I liked the backpacking aspect and the friend group. There were some amusing and entertaining moments between them all. The hero was definitely clueless about a lot of things, which was quite funny.

However, there were some issues I had with the overall writing. The flow and pacing of the story was quite abrupt and confusing at times. There were chapters and scenes that changed too quickly and just didnā€™t make sense.

I also struggled with the hero to be honest. While I understood he had the whole playboy personality, how he acted in certain situations specifically involving women and sex was just too immature. That one scene when he goes back home and interacts with the two women was just disappointing, especially because there was already strong feelings between the heroine and him. While there was no cheating, it just made it a bit difficult for me to like him.

The relationship/romance between the main characters was okay. While there were some cute and amusing moments between them, I wanted the hero to compromise and grovel a bit more. I did like however, how they started off as really good friends and how natural their connection was. The spice was pretty good as well.

Their reconciliation was a bit rushed and I wanted a bit more communication between them but nonetheless they had a cute conclusion.

I will say that the one aspect I really did like was the friendship between the kid, Eddie and the hero. I loved how he looked out and cared for him. I also really enjoyed the moments between all the Miles brothers together.

Overall, just a decent read.
