Mr. Deaver managed to work in several twists into this brief novella, and at the very end he either tossed in another subtle one or prompted me to invent my own. I can't wait to get to the others in the series.

He had me believing everything that he said. The plot twist towards the end made me smirk. I loved how the tables turned. The explanation of how it happened made for a satisfying ending.

The broken doll book 1. Short story. Pretty good but not a five. Denver has done better. Glad it was a short story. If he had made it longer, I may not have finished it, so I don’t think I will go on to book 2 of the broken doll….which has nothing to do with a doll!
