This story had a lot of promise. The early pages were full of mystery, danger, and intrigue. Then it got a little far-fetched. Sadly, when that happened, I began to notice the grammatical errors, the wrong word usage, and the very odd typeset style that continued a sentence on the next line in a new paragraph. I think the story is worth the effort the cleanup would take. For the record, when something cost way too much, the word for that is exorbitant, not exuberant. Maybe get an editor who speaks English.
