Stanton Unconditional (Stanton Series)

4.4 out of 5

Book two of the Stanton series in the follow up from the gripping debut novel by T L Swan, Stanton Adore.

Unconditional love, does it really exist or is it an urban myth.

What does it really mean?

Do you love someone because of their flaws? Or in spite of them.

And at what point are the conditions more to bear than the love is worth.

This is what I’m trying to decipher, this is my story, I’ll let you be the judge.

Overall 5/5 Spice 5/5

Holy hell, I’ve never been so invested in another series of books. It’s so good. Their relationship is repeatedly but to the test, chaos surrounds them, yet they continue to follow their own path.

I’m glad there are 7 books because I’m not ready for this story to end.

Stanton Unconditional

Unconditional love means to love without any conditions. Wholeheartedly. In the face of infidelity people often find they can’t love unconditionally. If your partner becomes unfaithful and you can’t imagine life without them regardless that is unconditional love. It doesn’t mean you accept infidelity. It means you can love despite the betrayal. People have to ask themselves did they contribute to the death of a relationship.

That’s what I loved about this story the plots help the characters discover how they each contribute to the break down in the relationship. If they foster insecurities, of their spouse.

Intense Relationships Throughout

TL knows how to develop characters and situations and this book has both in spades. Natasha and Josh continue their on-again, off-again love story, and just when you think it will drive you crazy, it all works out. Family issues, crazy friends and complex situations fill this saga and draw the reader in to them all. On to book 3!

Oh my!! This is a completely awesome contemporary! The plot is fast paced, full of twists, turns, flat ass upside-down and sideways, in other words, CAN'T PUT IT DOWN! The characters are absolutely stunning and believable. READ ASAP!!!

Some insight into Natasha’s character

I love most of T L Swan’s series books. I enjoyed the first book on Joshua and Natasha. This second book I must say Natasha just pissed me off with her drama. Natasha is a clinical psychologist which means she should be able to analyze issues before blowing up. She is human , I get it but she is constantly having doubts, anger issues and just dealing with any trouble that comes her way. Not to mention her double standards issues-it’s ok for her to keep things from Joshua in the name of “protecting him from getting hurt” but he doesn’t have the same rights. (Venting over) I’m hoping the third book will give Natasha some maturity. BTW the sex scene are aggressive but very hot 🔥🔥. ENJOY

Really loved the stories

I loved both books. At times difficult to follow who was interacting with whom. Trying to get a handle on the conflicts and who was the injured party and who should take the blame was most intriguing. I decided the main characters were meant for each other because they were both lunatics. Definitely over the top on sex. It wasn't 50 Shades of grey but, close.

Alot of errors

I love the stories by t l swan and I will continue to read them. I find this one had alot of errors and I had to figure out what some lines meant. I was also confused about Bridget at the beginning it was obvious she was the sister but when she would introduce her she would said friend. I also had to figure out who was talking because 2 or 3 different people were speaking in one paragraph.

Unconditional did not capture my interest as much as Adore. Much of it seemed repetitive. The characters continued making the same mistakes, and the bickering began to grate. Overall the pace needed to be faster in the follow up novel. Swan is still an excellent author!

Didn't do it for me

This one I didn't care for. Josh and Natasha's story should have ended with book 1. Too much doubt, mistrust, yelling, and screaming. I got bored with the story halfway thru. Sorry ☹️
