But being half of the world's most famous couple comes with a price. No matter where Paige goes, someone is always watching. Soon she finds herself dodging photographers; hiding her feelings for her other costar, Jordan Wilder; and weathering tabloid scandals that threaten to tear her and Rainer apart--and end her career as quickly as it began. As she navigates her new L.A. life in this exciting sequel to Famous in Love, Paige finds that she doesn't know who to trust: Old friends could be betraying her secrets, and new friends are keeping secrets of their own.

I loved famous in love so much I couldn't waited to read truly madly famously. Rebecca nailed it. Her books are addicting! I guess I'll have to continue re-reading these books over and over until we get the next greatest book from her.

I thoroughly enjoyed this 2 book series. There were so many different situations and people, but at it’s core it was a story about love and friendship, both at their very worst and at their truly beautiful best.

Obsessed with these books (the first one is great too) and with the show based off of them. Definitely a good escape read.

Great YA Summer Read

I thought this was perfect for the target audience. At 29, the TV show based on the books caught my attention. So, I read the books. The books, however, are based on high schoolers, not college aged+ people. Personally, I wouldn't recommend it to my peers. The plot/sub plot was very basic, but definitely something that I would have inhaled in late middle school, even though I probably wouldn't have understood dating at all. But it's fun. And an entertaining book is always good.

I enjoyed this sequel and the fact that it went a bit deeper - when most romances only skim the surface. I ordered this book because after watching season 1, I wanted to see how everything ended. I really didn't know what was going to happen. The main character matured a lot in the second book, but Paige lost some of her innocence that made her so loveable in the first book.

I have seen this happen in real life where people hang on to relationships because they don't want to hurt the person they are with, but not because they really love them. You only live once so allow yourself to love the person that makes your heart throb, not the one that makes you feel more safe than loved. That's what I got our of the story, anyway.

The main theme of this book is to be true to yourself and not do what others expect or want. That's living a falsehood and hurts everyone involved. You can care for more than one person at a time and even love them both, but in the end what matters is that you do what is right for you.

Truly Madly Famously Mini Review

Truly, Madly, Famously is the sequel to Famous in Love. While Famous in Love captivated me with all of its glitz and glamour, Truly, Madly, Famously let me down with all its drama. I liked that Paige was living in LA and dealing with actually being famous now, but I wasn’t really a fan of all the boy love triangle drama. This might have been because I had watched the show beforehand and had fallen in love with Rainer, but something about the relationship with Jordan felt forced. *shrugs* Oh well.

Raige all the way

Love triangles. Blah. Especially when there is no need for one.

Simply put I just felt there was no chemistry between Jordan and Paige. That maybe because I binged the TV show and am a strong Raige fan, but I honestly felt Rainer was the clear choice for Paige.
