Where We Ended: A Motorcycle Club Romance (Stone Riders MC)

4.5 out of 5

852 global ratings

The final chapter to the addictive Stone Riders series is finally here!

It’s been two years since I was traded to the Stone Riders Motorcycle Club.

While it saved my life, I was forced to leave behind the only person that ever mattered to me.

Dripping with tattoos, his hair as dark as his soul, the brooding president of the Death Raiders still holds my heart...even if he doesn't seem to know what to do with it.

Yet, Silas has watched me from afar for years, always protecting me from a distance, and creating havoc on my tattered emotions.

To love, and be loved an arm's length away has been torture…until it seemed we might finally free ourselves of this pain.

Unfortunately, whatever we wanted, or could have dreamed of having gets ripped out of reach when old enemies return.

While one wants power, the other....only wants me.

I’ll grieve the dream of a future with Silas because if there’s one thing I know, it's that there is no world in which he would ever share me with another.

If this is to be our end, then I'll say goodbye with ink-stained arms wrapped around me and death itself still holding my heart.

While each book in this series can be read as a standalone, this book is the exception. The plot from books one through three will come to an end with this book, so it is highly recommended to read them in order to fully enjoy and understand what's happening in this book.

Silas & Natty's Story Was the Perfect Ending to This Series

Silas & Natty’s relationship has been teased throughout the series, and this book was just the perfect way to end!

Stars: 5/5 Spice: 4/5

Natty was traded to the Stone Riders MC two years ago to save her life, and she’s been living with them, under their protection, ever since. Silas is clearly attached to Natty – watching and protecting her from a distance for years. So how will they find their way back when they’re further ripped apart?

Truly, there’s not a lot I can say about the book without ruining it. BUT I loved that we got such a deep dive into the history between Silas & Natty when it’s been teased so much throughout the earlier books. Their relationship was well-established, and I was really able to root for the characters. I loved the glimpses of the other characters of the series we’ve grown to love.

Now, I am not a dark romance girl – I can’t take it. And this series is not a dark romance. But this book definitely felt darker and maybe a bit spicier than the others – though it did not feel out of place and unnecessary for the characters to me. It really made me realize where my personal limits are as a reader. That said, there were no parts that made me consider putting it down or not finishing. And I would absolutely read the entire series again. It gave me everything I needed, answered all my questions – and honestly, it was the perfect way to end the series. If you’ve been following this series, you need to see how it ends! If you haven’t read the series and are looking to start, I highly recommend reading them in order.

The perfect ending to this series!

Ashley Munoz is a master of her craft, writing in my opinion, one of the best MC series out there. The Stone Riders series has followed different couples in this dark and dangerous world and ends with Silas & Nattys story. Munoz writes a love story that wrecks your soul, it’s raw, gritty and devastatingly beautiful. Silas & Nattys love is written in the stars, and while life throws them some serious curveballs, there’s nothing stopping these two from coming together. I honestly can’t articulate how much I love this series. Where We Ended is my favorite of the four, Silas & Nattys story is unlike any other. It’s told so well, detailed to perfection, ties in the other story lines and ends on the most beautiful notes. You get the perfect blend of MC, romance, suspense, spice, heartache, emotion and unmatched writing. There isn’t a person I wouldn’t recommend this to and a rooftop I won’t scream from, without a doubt one of my top reads ever. (I wouldn’t consider this standalone, there’s so much backstory and reference to things that happen in the other books and their relationship builds in the other stories- but if you’re going in blind I would check your triggers, this has some dark themes but again i think it’s best to start from the beginning)

“He can’t have what belongs to me…” AND I DON’T WANT ANYONE ELSE TO HAVE ME

“I’d die a thousand times over if it meant I could keep you safe. My life is not worth living without you in it, Caelum.” “What of my love for you, Silas? Can I not also want to move the sky and crack the earth just to protect you?”

What a send off for such an amazing series - Silas & Natty’s story has finally arrived and it was worth every minute of the wait! Once again, Ashley Muñoz does a bang up job with two incredibly strong main characters who are bound together like literal forces of nature and even though this book was darker than the previous Stone Riders MC stories, it still had me kicking my feet. There are so many surprises throughout the story that had me ALL CAPS note taking and silently screaming and the author wrapped up many storylines without making the overall narrative feel bogged down. The pacing was great and I’d give all my dark AND all my light for these stories to never end!

Both Natty & Silas surprised me with their character development, and I’m so glad Ashley shared their primal, eternal love story with us. Please check out the trigger/content warnings before you enjoy. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HARD WORK!

Do you love a morally black main guy? Do you love an impassioned love story? Do you love a powerful and steadfast leading lady? Do you love a beautiful but well loved bow wrapping up your new favorite series?

Sad for this series to end! But it was so good!!

Tropes : Small Town Motorcycle club Always meant to be Possessive Hero Touch her and die She's mine and only mine Burn the world down for her

Natty and Silas's story is one that I have awaited since it was mentioned they were getting their own story! I was literally on pins and needles awaiting them.. Now on the flip side of this, I am so sad that the series is over.. However, I am still holding out hope for a second generation. But this is a series that I will read and read again. From start to finish Ashley did an amazing job of telling their story!

We first met Natty in Where We Started, she had been traded to the Stone Riders and was given a room and protection from the outside world. Then enters the Roman and his questioning about her safety but no one knew what the deal was. We saw a little more in Where We Belong when Silas held Laura at gunpoint because Jameson was seen talking with Natty and then in Where We Promise was the threat against Natty from the past and the disappearance of Natty.

Natty was the quiet blend-in girl so no one would notice her. Her mother wasn't a mother unless it was of benefit to her. But in comes Sasha and Silas and takes Natty into their fold and Sasha does all that she can to keep Natty safe. While Natty and Silas grew up Sasha taught them Latin and homeschooled them. As Natty grew older she realized she and Silas had a special bond. Natty knew that she was Silas's light and would take the demons he had to give him peace. They became one and had marked each other's souls for all eternity. She lived for Silas and the day that he would come for her so that they could be one. As she waited, she wondered why he never came for her.

Silas was a troubled soul as he grew, he would read poetry to his mother while they would hide from Silas's father. He was an awful man. When Silas grew older he would have to go with his father during the summer and then those times became longer and longer. Though he would never take over what his father wanted him to, he chose his path, his father manipulated things all around and wanted to end his weakness so he took what he thought would make him lose his mind..

Natty showed us she is not just a quiet house mouse and would go after what she wanted and would do what she needed to do to keep her loved ones safe and fight for the life she wanted!!

There were quite a few shockers and absolutely LOVED this book!! I can't wait to get the physical copy in my hands

Story: 5–>infinity Spice: 4

Review: If it were possible to give a book a million stars I would ABSOLUTELY do it for this one. When starting the Stone Riders series I was extremely hesitant on my opinion of Silas. However, over time he grew on me and it wasn’t until the third book when it clicked that this man was down BAD for Natty. One of the many things that has held true about Ashley Muñoz’s writing is that she writes a hell of a backstory for all of her characters. By doing this I feel so invested in the characters lives and what happens to them in the end. Silas and Natty’s story was no different. I swooned, I laughed, and I absolutely cried with these two. If you want a love story of two people who are literally fighting against the odds this story will have you in a chokehold. I won’t say too much, but these characters stories go deep and they are so, so rich.

I am absolutely devastated to say goodbye to the town of Rose Ridge and the lives of the Stone Riders. However, I cannot wait to see what else Ashley puts out next.

I absolutely loved this book. There was so much going on, never a dull moment. I've waited for this book since we first found out about Silas and Natty, and I wasn't disappointed. Their story was so intense, hauntingly beautiful, and so, so sweet. The emotions in this book were so raw and realistic. I love books that bring on physical reactions to the emotions the characters experience, and this one definitely did that. It was definitely darker than the others I'd say bit fitting for Silas and Natty, and those around them. It was very well written and kept me hooked the whole way through. I couldn't put it down. It broke my heart, made me laugh and cry, and angry all at once. The ending was a hard one at times but definitely an HEA so don't let that deter you.

The spice was good, realistic and doesn't make you question your knowledge of human anatomy. Possible triggers for some readers so be aware of the content warnings and I recommend for mature audiences for sure. It's a heavy read at times BUT SO WORTH IT. I'm sad it's over but I'll be reading more by this author. Enjoy!

Not ready for this story to end!!

I did not just simply sit down and read this book. I devoured it, in. A. Day.

Ahh, I’m still sitting here trying to absorb the fact that this series is over. That there are no more Stone Ridge Riders. I just can’t process that yet.

But wow, Silas and Natty. I am in love!! These characters broke my hearts. There were moments I cried, times that I laughed, and I was so emotionally consumed by this story, I could not put it down!

I was so happy to get Silas and Natty’s back stories. To see exactly why Natty was sent to live with the Stone Ridge Riders. Her whole life story growing up seriously broke my heart. She had been in love with Silas her whole life, and her back story really showed that. Silas had a horrible childhood. His mom made me mad, because I think she could’ve given him a chance if she would’ve tried to get away, but because she didn’t run, Silas was trapped with his father, who was horrible. I think Sasha (Silas’s mom) was just as trapped by circumstance, but she fed her son to the wolves and let him be turned into the Roman, which she knew would happen.

Silas and Natty had such a long road to be together, finally, without all of these outside things keeping them apart. Growing up, Silas was constantly gone, even after he patched in, he would leave for weeks at a time. I felt so bad for Natty because before the Stone Ridge Riders and her found family with them, she was always so alone.

I’m so happy that Natty’s dream came true by the end. It took a lot of time, but he took Natty’s dream, close to her found family and friends, and made sure Natty knew she was loved and would never be alone again.

I’m so sad this series is over. I loved it so much. I cannot wait to see what Ashely comes up with next. I really hope we see more of our SRR family in anymore MC books she writes, because they were seriously amazing!!

💀‿➹💕WHAT A FANTASTIC END TO AN AMAZING SERIES!💕➹⁀💀

Reviewed in the United States on July 26, 2024

Well, I’ve just finished WHERE WE ENDED from Author Ashley Munoz and what a fantastic way to end such a perfectly amazing MC series. She has nailed the MC genre and although in no way are they are dark MC romance, they carry Ms Munoz’ own brand of angst, heat and action and by crikey she has more than delivered. While they’re very much at the lighter MC Romance than my normal read, readers should still maybe check the warnings if they’re worried.

I’m crying as I’m getting this review down because not only was the final chapters in ENDED poignant, I’m also mourning the fact that we’re leaving Rose Ridge and the characters that we’ve all invested time with and grown to love. Hell’s teeth if I’m struggling to leave this group of characters, I can’t even imagine the personal cost to an author who has spent months investing heart and soul into writing about them!!!! I also have to say here, that I binge read the first three books and noted down the names of characters as I worked my way through. And, I loved every minute of it. I do recommend reading them before hitting WHERE WE ENDED, if only to build the same sense of love and anticipation that I had. These characters deserve it.

The story of Silas and Natty has been cultivated from the start. First as a seed in WHERE WE STARTED, nurtured through BELONG and PROMISE, culminating in this epic finish of WHERE WE ENDED. Their story is tragic and one of my favourite ever movies was vaguely referenced in BELONG. Reading that scene had me in tears, because the heartbreak between the lovers in Ladyhawke was a soul deep tragedy and the heart-wrenching moments of denied connection between Silas and Natty was so strong it made me very aware of their presence throughout each of the books:

“An entire life with her, and yet we hadn’t even begun living ours. Not the one owed to us.”

These two grew up together as young children, and from that first moment in the Prologue, it was easy to see how they were bonded. Silas was dragged into the dark by his vicious and violent father, the kind that perpetrates an evil foulness into the hearts and minds of young sons and anything he touches in the world. Silas’ believed his dark heart was worthless and beyond love but Natty insisted on sharing his burden and bathing his heart in her sunlight. Soon it become tragic and they were like night and sun, sharing the same world but never together 😭😭😭 And in WHERE WE ENDED, Silas has had enough, it was time to bring about the end to those who had wronged them, consequences by damned:

“All I wanted was Natty in my arms again. I’d waited long enough; Natty belonged to me, and even if this ended in both our lives being forfeited, at least in the end, she’d be buried with me. Safely cradled in my arms.”

All the feels people. All. The. Feels.

Natty was initially a quiet understated character who tried to remain invisible. She was an enigma and soon we realised why. The hatred and animosity she was hiding from, the trauma she’d been through and realising what was sacrificed for her safety was overwhelming, but her strength, determination, loyalty and love for Silas had her taking ownership of her future in a way that surprised everyone. I just loved her.

Silas’ mother, Sasha was revealed as a hero in her own right, an imperfect woman who made mistakes and underwent unspeakable treatment to save those she loved. Unconditional love in horrendous conditions brings about it’s own consequences, and just wow, she did step up. I’m both rapt and broken-hearted for her journey here also.

So many important secondary characters that bolster the structure created by Ms Munoz. Collectively they’re just as important as the main characters in each of their stories, because without them, their journey seems all for nought. I believe that they provide the depth, and as entirety, this series is profound. So deep, it seems bottomless.

What an amazing journey it has been with this group of rivals who have found a common respect and mutual protection for each other. Patches differ but the love and protection of their women and families remain paramount and where values align, alliances are found.

Inspired by a real-life encounter, Ms Munoz turned that old adage of ‘don’t get mad, get even’ into her own brand of even in this beautifully written set of books becoming a huge success that has brought her talent into the minds of more readers who love her books as much as I do.

I unreservedly, profoundly and from the bottom of my heart recommend this series of books. Dip your toe into the world of 1%-ers and you’ll be glad that you did. If you don’t, you’re missing out. Seriously.

I know I’m getting boring in my rating, but who cares, it’s all more than well deserved. 5-profoundly-suspensful-romantic-MC-Stars. 💕➹⁀💀

This is the story we've been waiting for people!!! Natty and Silas are endgame. They are the epitome of dedication and love. I absolutely loved watching their story unfold. From when they first met

Wins: childhood love, MC romance, protective MMC, Touch Her and pew pew vibes, and we learn the background behind Natty's knife...iykyk! I feel like we got closure with this book..not just for Natty and Silas but for so many characters we've grown to live in this series.

Misses: NONE. I mean it. I'm in complete love with them and am so ready for a reread already. Ashley Muñoz really outdid herself with this one. Absolute perfection.

One last thing, but it's a spoiler so don't scroll down if you don't want to know... . . . . . . I mean it, last chance if you don't want to know... . . . . . . When I tell you that I SAT STRAIGHT UP when I read the "my wife" part of the book. Phew! Fans face I about screamed it was so perfect!! .
