At least it was for Beckham Sinclair. The first time he said eyes on Margo he knew she was the one for him but his little brother got in the way and he waited.

Beck is not a man to wait for fate to step in he put in motion steps to ensure that Margo would be his. But when love starts out with a little white lie and you don't correct it the Web of Lies become too much and you fear that the truth will come out.

Margo is unsure of Beck's intentions but soon she finds that the walls she built around her heart is slowly melting away because of backs words and actions. In this case actions speak louder than words and back fulfilled everything that he promised her and more.

Such a lovely spicy and hot Romance that I think I found another author that I'm really going to enjoy. I can't wait to find out about the rest of Margo's friends they sound like a great bunch of gals to call your best friend.

Where to start? Margo and Beck have a long history. Much longer than she really knows. This book was so good. My emotions were all over the place. Not to mention the spice was top notch. This book will have you in your feelings from the start. So buckle up.

Beck is the oldest of the Sinclair brothers and the older brother of Margo’s ex boyfriend Carter. He has a security business and more money than he knows what to do with. The one thing he doesn’t have is the woman he’s fawned over for years, his Violet aka Margo. When Margo finds out that her boyfriend Carter had been cheating on her, their whole relationship she understandably doesn’t answer Becks calls. This resorts to him doing something crazy.

Margo is a sweet funny artist who’s stuck being a graphic designer for a security company in a city she hates. Until Beck walks back into her life and offers her the chance to have a once in a lifetime opportunity. Be his fiancee and help clean up his act. In return he will put in a good word with his best friend to get her artwork seen by one of the top artist around and get her back to the city she love. All she has to do it be his assistant and pretend to fall in love with him. It won’t be hard since he’s gorgeous. But we all know how that turns out.

From the beginning of the book the dirty talk starts and it’s beautiful. But the way Beck talks about her is more than that. He sees her in ways no one else does. The plot is so sweet but steamy and when crap hits the fan well that’s when you start really rooting for him to figure this out.

I’m only sad we didn’t get more or have her make a photo of them with their babies because I need all the feels! I hope I get glimpses in the next books.

Read this you won’t be disappointed!

This was a really well written romance between Beck and Margo. Different take on a man falling in love and pursuing a woman,held my attention all the way through. I like that the author focused on the couple so you got to understand them as adults without a bunch of silly interferences. When the rough times hit, though tough Margo was able to work through his explanation and understand finally. The premise of the story is hard to accept, but I liked the way the author handled it. Nice spice. My favorite kind of HEA. The constant banter between the two allowed her to stand up for herself so he learned she was n a pushover. Really loved this book, may reread😍

Beckham Sinclair could show up unexpectedly and sweep me off my feet any day. I’ll be waiting on my billionaire just like I’m still waiting on that Hogwarts letter.

Our main girl Margo, witty, artistic and recovering from a heartbreak by twat waffle Carter is working business as usual one day when she’s called to the head Bosses office. To her astonishment, in the conference room is Beckham “Beck” Sinclair. Her ex’s brother, demanding to know why she’s ignoring him, while dropping the news that he is her new boss, she is getting a promotion and also another tiny thing… he needs her to be his fake fiancée and move to NYC in a week.

Beck has not stopped thinking about Margo since she came to the Hamptons with his brother last summer. He will stop at nothing to make her his so when an opportunity to clean up his image presents it self he makes her an offer she’d be crazy to turn it down. Secretly he hopes she acknowledges their chemistry, that her feelings will become real as they are for him, but until then he will take her as long as he can get her.

The slow burn and sexual tension is palpable, Carter thinks he can weasel his way back in, lines are blurred and secrets revealed. Can Margo and Beck face the truth of what they have or is it all really just a contract/ a game to save face? You’ll have to read to find out.

This book checked all my boxes, the slow burn was perfection, the spice sprinkled throughout, the banter and character growth were my two favorite things. I felt so many emotions reading this but I think my cheeks are permanently blushed from Beck’s dirty mouth. I laughed, gasped, teared up, swooned and got angry. The twists were not expected for me and once I got to them I was shook.

Kat, these MMC’s have been simply superior. It was my honor to read Beck and Margo’s story. Albeit I went out of order and read about Winnie and Archer first. Let’s just say both are swoon worthy.

I enjoyed almost everything about this book. Normally I steer clear of brother relationships cuz it gives me the ick but this book is so well written that I got over it. The hero is alpha, sexy, grumpy and a bit dirty. I loved him and the heroine is smart, sassy and likable. Great dialogue. Funny moments and outrageous sexual chemistry. You won't be able to put it down.

If the end result got me Beckham Sinclair in love with me, I don’t think I would mind being lied to. Beckham “Beck” is Margo’s ex-boyfriend’s brother. His very attractive, older brother. Beck buys the company Margo works for cause she was ignoring Beck’s phone calls. Turns out playboy Beck Sinclair needs an assistant… and by assistant I mean future fiancé. The game plan is simple: Become Beck’s assistant, pretend to fall in love, get fake engaged, and have his company’s board believe he is a new man, and his playboy ways are in the past! Seems easy and not too complicated… until the ex shows up at family dinner, and the engagement party, where Becks history is brought to light. Beck is keeping a very big secret, and Margo played right into his hands.

This book was good and this was the first time I read this author work and I’m hoping that this book will not be the last. I did have to give this book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars and not five . She was just with the wrong brother and I’m glad for that because Beck and get it whenever he wants. I’m all for his stubbornness and his honesty alpha male attitude. When I read this book and with the audio, the audio was ok when the male narrator was trying to talk like a woman it sounded like a whining teen girl and not an adult woman that was not good but he did do a good job playing the mmc and the female narrator she hit it out of the park and I was not mad at how she did amazing job playing both the female and male voices. Beck and Margo are good and I’m kinda of looking forward to the next book.

Let me just start by saying…I did like the gist of the story and the spice, the Author is a good writer and Beck’s filthy mouth totally does it for me. (Although if a man can talk with a woman sitting on his face, they’re not doing it right!!)

However, I am extremely nitpicky (because of my work) about silly mistakes that could have been avoided. One or two can be overlooked but when there are numerous, obvious, errors it is annoying – especially as it would have taken minimal effort to fix before publishing.

A few examples: • Page 102: “Good afternoon, Tom.” Then the next page they say ‘morning’ - twice. • Page 122-123: At the end of this chapter Margo details that they ‘both focus on clearing our plates’ and ‘plate now clean’. So why on the end of the next chapter (Page 128) does Beck ‘get up, grabbing both our plates and putting them in the sink for the house cleaners to take care of tomorrow.’ • Page 130: A tuxedo...to work? No, just no. • Page 145: Coffee…’He plucks his coffee from the tray’ then ‘He walks to his seat…grabbing a legal pad…as well as a cup of coffee identical to the one I just gave him.’ So, Beck is balancing two coffee cups and a legal pad, I think not, Margo should hold the coffee until he throws his first one in the trash. • Page 161: ‘Ezra is waiting at the private airport for us’. Why is Beck’s Chauffer at the airport and not in the car? Ok, I get why, but come on, he would be driving! Why not leave him back in NY? Surely Leroy could have helped with the car the next day. It is a little insulting to the reader. • There was a lot of repetition - We get it…Beck was ‘deprived’ for what, a whole month, heaven forbid – the repetition gets old quickly. I definitely did some skimming through the pages. • Using the incorrect ‘tense’ for verbs, often and multiple times in a sentence.

I could go on, and yes, I understand these are not hideous errors that effect the story, and the book is obviously doing extremely well, but I find them annoying, they detract from my enjoyment of the book.

An 'OK' read, I would probably read the Author again – but it would certainly be worthwhile having an editor take a pass over it.
