Locus Award

The Locus Award is an annual set of literary awards presented by the science fiction and fantasy magazine Locus. Established in 1971, the awards are determined by a poll of readers and are highly regarded within the speculative fiction community. They recognize excellence in science fiction, fantasy, horror, and young adult fiction, as well as other categories like novellas, novelettes, short stories, and anthologies. The Locus Awards are considered a reliable indicator of the best and most influential works in speculative fiction, celebrating both established authors and emerging voices in the genre.
